Matching pairs of Edwardian antique solid ebony door knobs on a fairly large hardwood backplate. The handles are ebony, the backplates some kind of hardwood with a coppered escutcheon surround that was originally ebonised, they've been lightly refinished and waxed. Some of the pairs have the original threaded spindle, others have the spindle with threaded holes. They came from a property dated 1905.
Sold in pairs.
