A fantastic quality reproduction brass beehive oval escutcheon in an unlacquered brass with an antique finish. Traditionally most doors had a rim lock or latch on one side, escutcheons were used on the other side to cover the key hole and also act a draught excluder. This slightly larger version is great for covering holes on older doors.
