A fully working and tested call box from an armed services building, Staff Officers? Judging by the mechanism and the painted lead front it probably dates from the 1920s. The teak box is quite elaborate for a plain fronted box. Stripped of all the over painting, lightly refinished and waxed. The inside and glass just cleaned, it was tested on 9/12v, easy enough to connect via a similar voltage bell.
