Period Oval Door Handles

A pair of cast brass period oval door handles, this style on a square backplate were popular from the mid Victorian period right through to the 1930's. These are unlacquered so will tarnish in the traditional way, easily polished with a Brasso type product. The backplates are removable so they will work with rim locks or latches, these are quite a heavy casting at nearly 600g per pair.
